Composition and installation diagram
The ultrasonic object/liquid level transmitter is installed on the top of the container. Under the functional control of the
combined unit and the electronic components, the probe transmits a beam of ultrasonic pulse of more than 20000Hz to the measured object.
The sonic waves are reflected back by the surface of the object, and part of them will be received by the probe and
converted into electrical signals. The time from ultrasonic transmitted till it be rereived back, it is proportional to the
distance from the probe to the measured object. The electronic unit detects the time and calculates the measured distance according to the known sound velocity, so that the object level value can be figured out. As temperature affects the speed of sound, the meter should measure the temperature to correct the speed of sound.

Selection and application
Hcus-400 integrated ultrasonic level sensor, optional two-wire system or four-wire system, two-wire system can only supply 24VDC, 4-20mA current loop. Four-wire system is more optional, can load 4-20mA, RS485 communication, two-way relay output, also can supply 220VAC power.
