Common faults of radar level gauges?

Radar level gauges are more and more widely used, so you often encounter some problems when you use them. Today, I will give you a brief introduction to common faults and troubleshooting methods.

1. Confirm that the power supply of the meter meets the requirements of the meter and ensure a good connection with the meter.

2. Make sure that the programmer VP is in good contact with the instrument.

3. Confirm that the change range of the material level is within the range setting range of the meter.

4. Confirm that the meter complies with the installation requirements in the user manual.

The following is a specific analysis:

1. Confirm that the power supply of the meter meets the requirements of the meter and ensure a good connection with the meter. If the power supply voltage is lower than the rated voltage range of the meter, it may cause the meter head to have no display or restart continuously. If the power supply voltage is higher than the rated voltage range of the meter, the meter head may be burnt seriously.

2. Make sure that the programmer VP is in good contact with the instrument. If the programmer is not in good contact with the meter, there will be no display on the programmer's display screen.

3. Confirm that the change range of the material level is within the range setting range of the meter.

4. Confirm that the meter complies with the installation requirements in the user manual.

(1) Keep a proper distance from the tank wall (refer to the selection manual for details). This situation will affect the shape of the front echo curve and affect the measurement)

(2) Avoid obvious obstacles under the probe of the instrument, preventing the detection wave from reaching the surface of the measured medium smoothly. Due to the interference signal, the output of the meter may be higher than the material level; or it may jump between the real material level and the interference wave signal.
